这以种族为基础的经济分配的确让一部分人富起来，但是却没有从根本解决人民贫穷的问题。简单得说我们现在已经被其他亚洲国家抛在后头，甚至落后我们的越南与泰国也迎头赶上了。这是无可否认的事实，国家领袖再也不能用内安法令来禁止全世界对马来西亚经济政策的批判了。

我个人觉得如果我们仍然抱残守缺的认为做做门面工夫，建立更多现代化建筑及工程等来麻痹人民的思想是非常不智的。

反过来如果我们问30余年我们还继续强调铲除贫穷或马来人的经济地位仍然不达标吗？那是谁的责任呢？我们应该反问为什么我们坚持了这经济圣牛计划但是我们仍然总体上落后许多国家，而且我们得天独厚的坐拥原产品，石油，天然气等世界列强都必须购置的丰富资源但是我国的经济不断的衰退落后而且负债累累呢？

反之，有一天全国人民都欢呼我们不需要窝囊的新经济政策了，因为我们人民都富足了，马来人的生活水平与教育水平也已经达到世界水准了，那我们才是一个真正的在世界上挺得起胸膛的马来西亚民族！

从30余年的不实干的计划与盲目崇拜（这届大选结果显示种族主义及缺乏批判思维都是马来西亚民主的绊脚石）中我们为什么不能思考几代人的时间为什么却不能带给我们改变，带给国人骄傲呢？
